Philharmonic Pub still open despite Fire next door
I haven’t been in but amazingly the Philharmonic pub is open again – via the Hardman St entrance – despite the massive fire at the Korova building next door earlier today. That side of Hope Street is closed as well but the rest is open

Woke up to see this, don’t know what time it started but seems to be under control now. The roads are closed and people evacuated. Hope everyone is ok. KOROVA Hope Street. Liverpool. Nice to see that Korova people have updated their website now that they have settled into their new home at No. 32 Hope Street. Lots of good gigs coming up. I can’t see opening times though
Korova Moves to Hope Street – Opens Fri 16 Oct 09
Located next door to the Philharmonic Pub, Korova has moved from its Ropewalks, Fleet Street location to Hope Street. Opening today, Friday 16 October 2009 and lots of gigs already scheduled. We’re going to call in tonight to have a look. website (not updated!): www.korova-liverpool.com
Korova Bar is Moving to Hope Street
Due to open late October 2009 in the place next to the Philharmonic Dining Rooms that Tesco had their eyes on for a while. Its a good move I think, the Korova people are a slightly different culture from most of the others in the Concert Sq area. Hope Street should suit them better. Suits
