Woke up to see this, don’t know what time it started but seems to be under control now.

The roads are closed and people evacuated. Hope everyone is ok.

Seems to be mainly the Korova building but can’t tell where it started from.

Concerts at the Philharmonic are going ahead as usual but suggest allowing extra time to travel as part of Hope Street will be closed all weekend

Update: May have started in the solicitor’s office above Korova

Apparently radio report said it may have started in solicitors office above. Noodle bar will be well and truly soaked now.

I live next door to the solictors’ office. I am so sorry to see the severe damage of the solicitors office and Korova. I really want to give thanks to God and those firemen who put every effort to put out the fire. Amazingly, our building suffers no damage! There are still about 10 firemen around to double check the fire site.

Agreed, the firefighters are brilliant – and brave.
